San Diego Comic-Con was this weekend and there were PLENTY of reveals. Marvel had an enormous Saturday revealing their Phase 4 and beyond movies and TV shows, and others had their big moments as well. Here are five MASSIVE takeaways from San Diego Comic-Con.

Marvel Phase 4 and Beyond

Marvel had so many incredible revelations at Comic-Con. It’s almost hard to lump them all into one bullet point. They released their full plan for Phase 4 as well as Blade, Fantastic Four, X-Men, and sequels to Captain Marvel, Black Panther, and Guardians of the Galaxy. Here’s the release slate for those works:

  • May 1, 2020: Black Widow
  • Fall 2020: The Falcon and Winter Soldier
  • Nov. 6, 2020: The Eternals movie
  • Feb. 12, 2021: Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
  • Spring 2021: WandaVision Disney Plus series
  • May 7, 2021: Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
  • Spring 2021: Loki Disney Plus series
  • Summer 2021: What If...?
  • Fall 2021: Hawkeye
  • Nov. 5, 2021: Thor 4: Love and Thunder

ALL of these AND Blade, X-Men, AND Fantastic Four?! What a packed schedule they’ve got! Kevin Feige also said that Phase 4 will only be 2 years, Marvel fans… REJOICE! Watch our video reaction to the Marvel announcements:

Arrowverse Crossover: Crisis on Infinite Earths

The Arrowverse also had some exciting news about its upcoming crossover event---Crisis on Infinite Earths. It will take place for five hours. Brandon Roth will reprise his version of Superman! Also, Burt Ward will reprise his role as Robin since the 1960s Batman TV series! And Stephen Amell will play five different versions of Oliver Queen. WOW!

They’ve got a lot in store for this Crisis on Infinite Earths event. This is also the final season of Arrow, so the stakes are high for the cast!

DC Universe Content

While DC didn’t have a Hall H presentation, they sure did have some decent announcements lined up for their characters! They’ve got a GREAT lineup for their animated films and shows in 2020. The list includes:

    • Justice League Dark: Apokolips War
    • Superman: Man of Tomorrow
    • Superman: Red Son
    • Harley Quinn Animated Series
    • Titans Season 2: Premiering September 6th.

While we didn’t hear a PEEP from the DCEU, this lineup looks promising! Superman: Red Son is an Elseworlds story, or a What If, if Superman didn’t land on Earth but instead in Russia.

Top Gun Maverick Trailer Reveal

Talking about this one wouldn’t do much justice, but a trailer for Top Gun: Maverick was dropped unexpectedly at Comic-Con. That’s a treat we can ALL get behind! Check out the trailer here:

Terminator: Dark Fate Updates

The latest installment in the Terminator franchise dropped a lot of news at SDCC. First and foremost, it will be R-rated! Director Tim Miller said on the panel “The DNA of Terminator is an R-rated f***ing movie, so to not do it R, it feels disingenuous to the source material.” They also revealed some footage for the new movie, take a look:
