‘Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time’ Comes to PS4 October 2

Ever since the success of the N.Sane Trilogy of Remakes, Crash fans have been hoping for a new game that takes them back to the past. Today, it was revealed that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, will do just that! The game has a time-traveling gimmick, with promises of new worlds, power-ups, and multiple characters to play as.

In this new trailer, they revealed a new art style, which seems strange, as they could have kept the N. Sane trilogy art style (but who cares anyway?). They also show off 3 characters you can play as:

Crash, Coco, and Cortex.

The new power-ups come from new QUANTUM masks, that the developers have hinted at for the past YEAR! The developers have revealed two of these masks, the Time Mask, and Gravity Mask. The time mask can slow downtime for more precise platforming, and the gravity mask can change the direction of the gravity Crash and company, allowing for the Bandicoot and friends to walk on walls.

However, this new game is going to change the canon of the Crash Universe, as the trailer states that this is the fourth time that Crash and his friends have fought Cortex.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is set for release on October 2, 2020, for PS4 and Xbox One, with no release for Switch or PC announced yet.
