Coronavirus has thrown a wrench in the movie industry. Summer blockbusters have been pushed back and for months, a new movie hasn’t seen a theater release. Luckily, studios have either pushed movies back or released them straight to VOD.

Movies Without Release Dates due to Coronavirus:
“The New Mutants”
Original Release Dates: April 13 (2018), February 22 (2019), August 2 (2019), April 3 (2020)
It seems that New Mutants will never see the light of day. Now suffering a fourth delay, nobody knows what Disney will do with the movie. Disney+?
Original Release Date: April 17
This Guillermo del Toro produced horror film stars Keri Russell and Jesse Plemons and follows a teacher and her police brother. They believe one of her students is hiding a creature.
“Greyhound”
Original Release Date: June 20
The upcoming war film starring Tom Hanks was delayed. Unfortunately, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were both diagnosed positive during the beginning of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Original Release Date: September 21, 2018
“Capone” – May 15
This is Josh Trank’s first movie since the controversial Fantastic Four film. Capone was actually never intended to have a theatrical release date, instead opting straight for VOD due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
